WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA NUMISMATIC SOCIETY Minutes for the July 11^th 2017 meeting head at the

Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church ____________________________________________________________________________

WPNS President Corleen Chesonis called the meeting to order at 8.00 pm

Minutes of the previous meeting was read by Richard Crosby and approved.

Treasurer’s report: was read by Larry Hufnagle. Bank Balance in checking $1785.62 no deposits were made. Interest of .09 for the month. New Balance $1785.71. Dues received by Larry Dziubek of $10.00 will be deposited next month.

Committee reports: No reports were presented

Correspondence: None received

Old Business: WPNS will send a $50.00 donation to the ANA. Approve to pay the Mt. Lebanon United Church rental expense for 2017 of $250.00. Membership to the Heinz History Center was paid privately by several members (Dziubek, Krivoniak & Homza / Ted) If you want to go to the HHC, you may contact these individuals and membership card will be forwarded or you may give you name at the registration desk of the Heinz Center and you and three guests will be admitted without charges. Annual society programs for out 139^th year were completed and will be printed next month. Skip will handle the printing.

New Business: Program for the August meeting will be by Phil Christ on Mexican Type Coins. Rich Gaetano is looking for a speaker for the November banquet. It was suggested that Robert Stackly of the Heinz History Center would be a good choice. Ed Krivoniak & Tom Uram are looking for a Banquet/dinner location. The ANA will be having two conventions in the Pittsburgh Area in 2019 & 2020. More news will follow. Tom Uram was recently elected to the ANA Board of Governors. Larry Korchnak will be the ANA District Representative.
